Three-Way Conversion (TWC) Catalyst

The TWC catalyst helps meet tighter tailpipe emissions limits. Our solution features a novel coating design that optimizes the use of precious metals (e.g. Platinum, Palladium, Rhodium).  These designs help us outperform conventional three-way conversion catalysts in the oxidation of hydrocarbons (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO).

Additional benefits include: fast light-off performance for hybrid, turbo and gasoline direct injection engines, superior durability and temperature stability, and stable oxygen storage function to help meet On-Board Diagnostics II (OBDII) requirements.

PremAir®

PremAir, the ozone destruction catalyst, turns ground level ozone into oxygen preventing smog. This product is a novel catalyst coating that capitalizes on the large volume of air that passes through a vehicle's radiator and converts the harmful ground-level ozone into oxygen. The PremAir catalyst is used on more than three million automotive radiators around the world.

Additional benefits include:  5 mg/mi credit toward NMOG and a reduction in the need for precious metal to manage engine out emissions.

EvapTrap™

EvapTrap is the industry's first coating-based solution that adsorbs harmful hydrocarbons inside a vehicle's air intake box leading to a 99.9 percent reduction in evaporative emissions. This polymer-based coating is infused with activated carbon and proprietary zeolite.  The coating is applied directly onto the surface of the vehicle's existing air-intake box design.

Four-Way Conversion (FWC™) Catalyst

The FWC is a single component catalyst that can remove Particulate Matter (PM) as well as Carbon Monoxide (CO), Hydrocarbons (HC) and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) from gasoline-engine exhaust. The FWC catalyst combines the functionality of the TWC with a filter to remove all four pollutants with just one component.

Additional benefits include: low backpressure impact, reduction in system complexity and potential to reduce package space.
